How to schedule your week for optimum jump rope training

A goal is training with a deadline so this is the plan for the training cycle - the "schedule".

Monday is a "rest" day, though I'd prefer to do some activities. Tuesday is an off day or an "overnight" (like a day's rest followed by a day off), if you can get that during the week. Wednesday is a day to practice some specific moves and techniques.

Thursday is the day when I will warm up, do a good amount of drills and a few technical moves ie, a good jump rope session. Friday is the day where you can expect "quality" jump rope and practice sessions (ie, quality jump rope, or some technical moves). Saturday is an off day or day's rest followed by an afternoon practice session. Sunday is back to normal, though you can expect a recovery day followed by a day off - and that is pretty much the end of the training cycle. If I felt like I needed more rest, then Monday would be acceptable.

Otherwise, Friday would be my "off" day. The only issue is that I have to train in a gym that doesn't have a big enough pool - I need to think about that (for the moment). For the moment, I'm looking for the best jump rope venue, but probably I'll end up going to my home gym (which doesn't have an indoor jump rope arena). So, my goal is to have at least a few jump rope sessions each week in the gym, and to have a recovery day on a Thursday. I don't mind if it's not a lot, but my goal is to have some quality jump rope sessions at least once a week, and some off days - and a recovery day on a weekend. And hopefully to have some quality training sessions when the gym has a good pool.
