There’s a new weight loss plan for seniors that’s easier to follow, results quicker and costs less than most, and it’s proven to be just as effective and safe. “The average American diet consists of around three thousand calories. That is not to say that a diet of three thousand calories would be ideal, but it would certainly be necessary,” says Jiro Ono, a professor at New York University’s Business School and the founder of one of the world’s leading weight loss programs.

This is because it can be difficult to meet all of a healthy diet with just those three thousand calories. You should start with reducing the amount of calories you eat, as well as reducing the number of calories you take in. Reducing the number of calories you ingest in part means eating smaller portions, but you may want to experiment with different foods in order to make sure you’re eating a diet that’s right for you. While many diet plans call for reducing the amount of portion you are allowed to consume, they often don’t account for the fact that some foods have more calories than others.

This is where certain foods that you wouldn’t typically think of as being high-calorie foods come into play. “Certain foods are higher in calories; a tablespoon of peanut butter has more calories than a teespoon of peanut butter,” says Jiro Ono, a professor at New York University’s Business School and the founder of one of the world’s leading weight loss programs.
